Henrik Steffensen, Vice President Marketing and Business Development

Henrik Steffensen has many years of marketing and business development experience in the high-tech and waste management sectors. Prior to co-founding ASSET4 Mr. Steffensen was a partner at The e-Firm, a private equity boutique, where he advised a number of companies on business development and capital increases. He has also served as Vice President Marketing with wireless start-up Remote-i. Before that, Mr. Steffensen was responsible for marketing and large-scale partnerships for Hewlett-Packard EMEA, where he successfully established new business opportunities on a pan-European basis. Mr. Steffensen also helped to establish Sybase and Logic Works in Europe, which both went public on the Nasdaq. He has also worked for environmental protection company Geodur and holds a BA in Economics from the Copenhagen Business School.

Dr. Peter A. Pircher Vice President Product Management

Dr. Peter Pircher has held senior management positions in a variety of technology organisations including start-ups in the United States and Europe, as well as venture capital funds. Past positions in the US included VP of R&D and CTO at IDE and Aonix in the Silicon Valley, where he was instrumental in introducing model-driven development methods and tools. In Europe his responsibilities have included VP of Technology for ETF, a European venture fund, Senior VP of Technology for Fantastic Corp., a publicly held European Company and as an independent consultant.

Dr. Pircher has more than 20 years of enterprise technology expertise, proven management skills and an extensive industry network. Having worked in pre-and post IPO companies and venture funds make him well positioned to driven ASSET4’s product development strategies. Besides numerous articles on software development methods and processes, Dr. Pircher also co-authored a book on data broadcasting. He received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Zurich and was a Research Fellow at the University of California.
